TRANSPARENT PRICING FROM THE START
You know what the car cost. You know what we make.
Before Roadtrip purchases an auction vehicle, you review the available vehicle information and authorize the maximum bid you’re comfortable with. If we win it for less than your authorized maximum, you get the benefit of the lower winning bid.
Roadtrip does not mark up the Acquisition Price. Our sourcing fee is established before your search begins, so you know how Roadtrip is compensated before we ever bid.

We Search
Roadtrip searches available dealer and wholesale auction inventory for vehicles matching your requirements.
Review Your Options
Review available VIN, mileage, photos, condition information and applicable auction disclosures. Nothing is purchased without your approval.
Set Your Maximum Bid
You authorize the maximum amount Roadtrip may bid. Required purchase funds must be received and cleared before Roadtrip places a bid.
We Acquire It
If we win below your maximum, your Acquisition Price uses the lower winning bid—not the amount you authorized.
We Handle the Rest
Roadtrip completes the retail transaction and can coordinate transportation, financing, trade-in, title, registration and delivery as applicable.
PRIVATE CLIENT SOURCING FEES
Simple. Transparent. Capped.
Your sourcing fee is determined by your Maximum Authorized Bid and established before Roadtrip bids. Winning the vehicle for less does not increase or change your sourcing fee.
SIMPLE EXAMPLE
You authorize $35,000. We win at $31,800.
Your Acquisition Price starts with the $31,800 winning bid—not your $35,000 authorization—plus the actual auction buyer fee and PSI, if ordered.
